This film however is terrible, terrible crap.
It's a well known fact that in the 1870's everyone had laryngitis and had to whisper, we know this by listening to every actor in this move. What there is of a script has been thrown together by teenagers for a school project (a C, on a good day). Cantona, though a main character, only has 3 lines and one of them is a meaningless dig at Germany. There aren't any Germans in it!
Everyone's face is filthy, very de rigueur at the moment, yet everyone has a brand new and shiny gun, not to mention the super stylish clothes the bad guys are wearing. Lastly the pull back shot at the end, put in with the intent of adding some sort of thoughtfulness to the piece, is a pretension that the film neither deserves nor gets away with.
If we really look hard for redeeming qualities we could say that the brother is quite good and that it's reasonably well shot.
Meh, yawn, barff...take your pick.
